Weddings can often be stressful affairs, especially if you're pretty much doing everything on your own. The right location, food, dress, decorations and flowers can all add up to be much more than you originally thought. Idaho weddings offer picturesque scenery at a low price, but there are also other ways to save from start to finish.

Save the Date

Pick your favorite outdoor place, and take a photo with a small hand-made sign. It's simple, classy, cheap and will definitely remind people of just how cute a couple you two are.
Consider a House
A beautiful house can be outfitted for your day, and serve as both the location for the reception and the ceremony. Plus an open floor plan is both unique and makes the wedding more fun for your guests. You can put out of town relatives in the guest rooms and skip the limo.
A Different Kind of Dinner
Everyone knows what it's like to go to a catered affair and wonder how the food could be so bad. Generic burgers which have been sitting out too long, or macaroni which has been severely overcooked in vats with wilting salad. People pick caterers out of convenience so they don't have to worry about numbers or cleanup, but oftentimes the actual food is terrible. If you choose to serve fancy (and creative) snacks or make your own sides, you can save a bundle and people will be happier with your food.
The Idaho bridal show can also give you a lot of fantastic ideas about your dress, flowers, decor and much more. You can compare prices and talk to people in the industry. Making the right relationships can really help you decide on your best path. Considering how many choices an Idaho bride has, it can really be a lifesaver!

Sometimes traditional just isn't your style, and instead of a normal wedding topper with a beautiful, normal couple, you really just want you and your beau to be fighting zombies atop your wedding cake or playing Xbox...something that captures your real personalities. If so, a nerd wedding may just be more your taste. Here's some tips on how to plan the perfect nerd wedding fit for you, whether your a Gryffindor or a Slytherin

Tip #1: Pick a Theme

Before diving into your wedding planning, it's vital that you pick a theme. Whether it's just Batman, the entire Justice League, or a combination of all your favorite fandoms, picking your themes will give you the ideas that you'll roll with. It's also a great way for you and your significant other to have fun planning the wedding TOGETHER, rather than making it stereotypically about the bride. Combine your favorite loves as a symbol of two souls becoming one.

Tip #2: Pinterest is Your Pal

After picking your themes, check out ideas from other nerd weddings on sites such as Pinterest or whengeekswed.com. It'll give you inspiration for your own wedding, and there's nothing wrong with stealing an idea or two. Here is a great place to start.

Tip #3: DIY for Devoted Brides

There are TONS of DIY ideas out there on the internet that will give your wedding a personal touch by making it with your own two hands, plus it's great for a bride on a budget. Make your own wedding shoeswedding bouquet or wedding clothes and keep it personal.

Tip #4: It's all about the Invite

One of the coolest parts about any nerd wedding is the invite. This is a way to show your guest your creativity and how awesome your wedding is going to be with something as simple as a sheet of cardstock. You can make it simple, intricate, and even interactive. It's all up to you!

Tip #5: Every Chance to Nerd Out

Depending on how nerdy you want your wedding to be (or if you'd rather just have somenerdiness splattered here and there), you should use every chance you can to nerd out. Create a cake fit for the King of Westeros. Throw a Superman cape or a utility belt on your wedding dress. Make your wedding fit you, after all it is your day!
